Removing the central (middle center) console trim on Dacia Duster
- Take off the decorative plastic trim that is clipped to the center console of the Dacia Duster.
- No tools needed yet, you can just pull it up by hand.
- Unplug the rear doors power window switch connectors and the one of the power mirrors control too.
- Detach the gear lever leather boot and remove the console cover by making it pass through both the handbrake and gear lever.
These photos show how the electrical connectors on the central console cover are unplugged and the gear lever boot detached so the cover can be taken off.

Removing the center console on the Dacia Duster
Unscrew the 5 screws and the nut the ahold the console to the car chassis:
- remove the two screws within the cup holder compartment
- remove the screw within the rear car ashtray holder
- remove the nut underneath the handbrake
- remove the front screws on each side of the console.
Take off the middle center console.
You just need to make it pass through the gear lever boot.
You just need to make it pass through the gear lever boot.

Refitting the center console of the Dacia Duster
Reverse above steps, noting how the gear lever boot is reclipped in its intended place as the very last step.
Make sure of the console alignment with the handbrake.
