Step by step pictorial for water cooler cleaning:
1- Turn both hot & cold functions Off, remove the tank and empty the water completely.
4- Get the rid of the handle or the ring of the container.
7- Fill at least one cup and not more than two.
10- Wipe the area including the handles, knobs, etc.
13- Wait for 3 hours
16- Fill 2 liters of drinking water into the cooler and drain it again.
2- Use any drinking water container of 2l or more. You need 2x1l bottles of white filtered vinegar.
5- Empty the mix into the cooler and fit the container to avoid any foreign objects or dirt entry.
8- Now use your other vinegar bottle and put some on a clean kitchen towel.
11- Now find old antibiotics dosage capsules (or similar) and fill them with undiluted vinegar.
14- Remove the capsules and note how clean are the water taps.
17- Now install the water container and continue draining until water doesn't taste vinegar anymore .
This usually happens after 2 lt are drained from cold comp. and 4-6 lt from hot. Turn on your cooler.
3- Empty one bottle of vinegar into the container and add as much drinking water. No tap water!
6- Wait until bubbles stop and let some water flow in a cup making sure it smells vinegar.
9- Remove the bottom tray and later clean it on the kitchen sink.
12- Insert the capsules into the taps' tips and hold them with tape.
15- Drain completely the cooler, alternate blue and red taps.
