Removing the brake drums and shoes on a Dacia or Renault Duster

Removing the rear brake drums cylinders on any car
Look to the back of the rear brakes plate to see if the cylinder has one or two fixing bolts.
Put a plastic bin below the wheel hub.
Put a plastic bin below the wheel hub.
Remove the bleed nipple to gain an easier access then unscrew the nut that holds the hydraulic tube to the cylinder.
Unscrew the bolt (s) that hold the brake cylinder to the brake plate and take off the cylinder.

Refitting a new cylinder then new brake shoes
Clean well the rear brake plate with Carb spray and a thick rag.
Use a metal wire brush to remove rust from the central hub.

Fit the new brake cylinder, fix it with its bolt (s), then reconnect the brake fluid tube.
Proceed with the brake fluid bleeding once you replace both cylinders on both sides of the vehicle.
