Preparatory works for removing a door lock actuator on Dacia and Renault Duster
Removing the external door handle on Dacia Duster
Once the door panel is removed and the vapor barrier as well, you can access the two nuts that hold the door handle to the external door panel. Unscrew them, this will free the handle, which remains however attached to the lock, see next step for completely taking it off.
As you can see in the first picture, the handle has a metal clamp that holds to a vertical rod (second picture), which in turn is connected to the door lock by the means of a special plastic holder, pictured further below.
Do not force the handle out as you might break that plastic holder, just make sure to free the metal clamp out of the wire rod using a flat screwdriver from inside the door and while moving the handle leftwards.

This picture shows how all rods are connected to the door lock by the means of the white plastic holder shown in the middle of the picture.
To free the rod from the lock, two gestures are required, pulling the rod off the clip then pulling it out in a perpendicular movement to the first. This ensures rods operate the lock while being continuously held by this clip, unless someone intentionally proceeds with the above described gestures.
