Why would you remove the rear differential transfer case?
The rear differential transfer case of the Dacia or Renault Duster must be removed for removing gearbox.

Removal of the 4x4 transfer case on the Renault and Dacia Duster
Unscrew and remove the 4 bolts that hold the rear differential transmission shaft to the 4x4 transfer case.
This is the intervention with the most difficult access if you're working with the vehicle on the floor, like in this case, but it's only about the removal of 4 bolts.

Remove all bolts that hold the 4x4 transfer case to the gearbox:

Pay attention to the fact those bolts are of different lengths so do not hesitate to mark them for later easily refitting them.
Remove the transmission mounting and the exhaust support for accessing the last bolt that holds the transfer case to the gearbox:

You can now bring down the 4x4 transfer box of the Dacia Duster as shown here below.
It consists of the angle drive and the front differential and three drive shafts: one receives the torque from the gearbox, the opposite one transmits it to the right wheel and the perpendicular one to the rear differential.
