NOTE: the below works are shown on a 2013 Renault Duster 1.6 4WD equipped with a manual gear.
Why would you separate the gearbox from the engine?
The purpose of this tutorial is to show how to separate the gearbox from engine on the Dacia or Renault Duster, as our intent is to replace the clutch slave cylinder (bearing).
We will not be showing how to completely remove the gearbox, yet this step is essential for gearbox complete removal.
This intervention is continued from parts 1 and 2 of the whole gearbox removal process on the Dacia or Renault Duster:

Holding the powertrain of the Renault and Dacia Duster to the inner fenders
Use any available wooden, aluminum or even steel profiles at hand and cut them so they fit on the vehicle's inner fenders as shown, then attach the engine to them with rope or straps on each side of the engine.
Remove the last bolt that holds the gearbox to the engine and that was hidden by the 4x4 transfer case, see part 2 for more details.
Place a hydraulic jack under the gearbox and remove the gearbox mount.
The ratchet extension and its socket goes through the battery support of the Dacia Duster for reaching the bolts as shown.

Two of the gearbox mount can only be reached by going underneath the vehicle.
Take off completely the gearbox mount.

Separating the gearbox of the Dacia Duster from its engine
Insert a piece of wood between the gearbox and the lower chassis frame so you can slide the gearbox on it.
Using a large screwdriver, start separating the gearbox of your Dacia Duster by pushing it out little by little.
Using a large screwdriver, start separating the gearbox of your Dacia Duster by pushing it out little by little.
Continue pulling it out with the hydraulic jack and always make sure that it is still sliding on the piece of wood you had inserted.
If the power steering hose is still creating an obstacle for your action, move it with your hand and continue moving the gearbox out until its shaft decouples from the clutch.
As I said at the beginning of this tutorial, that was the purpose of my intervention since I will now proceed with the replacement of the clutch slave cylinder.
