Removing the battery on a Peugeot 3008 or 5008 phase 2
Disconnect the positive battery lead.
The positive battery terminal connector on all Peugeot and Citroën cars requires no tools to be disconnected.
The negative battery lead will require a size 10 socket or spanner, but can only be accessed at a later stage as explained below.
Use a Torx male socket with a ratchet handle, or an L-shaped Torx tool to slacken the remote negative battery terminal of the Peugeot 3008 or 5008.

With your fingers, press on the battery cover holder on the ECU side, and pull the cover up, while tilting it to the right, on the remote negative terminal axis.
This uncovers the battery holder, which is fixed by two nuts of size 10.
Remove the nuts and the battery holder.
Remove the nuts and the battery holder.
Pull out the battery as much as you can so you can easily access the nut of the negative battery clamp.
Take out the clamp and that's it.
You can now pull up the battery with its handle and take it ouf of the vehicle for replacement.
