Dismantling the windshield wiper arms on any vehicle

Open the hood to easily access the wiper arms:

Take out the wiper arm nut rubber or plastic cover and unscrew the nut with a spanner (usually size 16).
Take out the nut.

Use your left hand to press on the wiper arm as shown in the left picture, then move your hand leftwards while continuing to press, and at the same time, pulling up the wiper arm from its bolt with your right hand:
