Symptoms of a clogged pollen or cabin filter

  1. Car A/C is overall less efficient, yet the pulsed air from the A/C grilles on the dashboard is cold
  2. Excessive A/C fan noise inside the car
  3. Air getting out of the A/C diffusers is too cold
  4. Air flow is reduced, put your hand on an A/C diffuser then take it away slowly, you will notice the pulsed air reaches a shorter distance
  5. Uncomfortable ambience inside the car at night, with the A/C being too cold
  6. Uncomfortable ambience inside the car under the sun, with the A/C lacking efficiency

Location of the cabin (ac) filter on Renault Clio

The cabin filter of the Renault Clio 4 is located under the dashboard, behind the central console and is accessible from the right side of the vehicle.
A cabin filter compartment trap can be easily taken out with your hand without using any tool, which uncovers the cabin filter as shown here.

How to replace the cabin filter of the Renault Clio IV

Take out the A/C cabin filter of the Clio by pulling it out even if it shapes like a hand fan.
Refit the new A/C pollen filter (cabin filter) with the air flow arrows pointing towards the interior of the car and close the plastic lid. That's it!
