The below works concerned a 2019 Citroën C3 equipped with the EC5 1.6 VTi engine, which is a modernized TU5 engine used in emerging markets. As a result, same or similar engines can be found on several Peugeot and Citroën models of the 1990s or since 2012 on more recent or current models available in China, North Africa, Latin America and other emerging markets.
Access to the spark plugs on the Citroën EC5 engine
Unscrew and take off the central engine cover of the EC5 engine.
Unplug and tilt the oil breather pipes in order to access the ignition comb-coil:
Remove the bolts that do hold the ignition coil to the cylinder head, and again, tilt the comb shaped coil to the right side without disconnecting it:
The Citroën C3 spark plugs are now visible and easily accessible:

Removing the spark plugs on a Citroën EC5 engine
Use a size 16 spark plug socket and a ratchet handle to unscrew the spark plugs and take them off the cylinder head, while making sure to put them in the same order than the cylinders from where they were extracted in order to diagnose the health of your engine:
Check if all the spark plugs have a light brown coating on their electrodes, denoting a normal and well maintained engine, or else click on the below link to see how to diagnose your engine out of the spark plugs condition.
The second picture shows how the old spark plug has signs of very normal wear, consisting of the central electrode being eroded on one side and an increased gap between electrodes. It was driven for 65,000 Km.

Refitting new spark plugs
Hold the new spark plug with your finger to the wall of its well and let it go down slowly.
Tighten the spark plug by hand and do not use the ratchet at this stage.
Then use a torque wrench set at 2.5 mKg for tightening the spark plugs.
If you have no torque wrench, tighten by 1/8th of a turn after firm contact.

Apply one coat of silicone dielectric grease to each of the boots of the ignition comb before refitting it.
