is a website aimed at encouraging anyone to enter the Do-It-Yourself extraordinary world of observation, methodology, creativity and independence.
It is owned by a Lebanese DIYer reason why the name refers to the “Maallim” a noun that applies to every single technician you would hire one day for fixing things at home or in your car or "No Maallim" for doing it on your own.

About the Owner
My name is Antoine Harb and I started the DIY hobby at the age of 13. It was at this birthday that I received my first power drill ever. I also dismantled and cleaned the same year the carburetor of the family car, a 1976 Peugeot 504.
It was a difficult start with a "Maallim" often called to complete or correct the job. My mother's and sisters' encouragements and tolerance helped a lot, especially when fixing their cars... But this didn’t last for long. A few learning years later and with the purchase of more and more tools that a “Maallim” doesn’t even have, I managed to reach where I am, maintaining all at home or in cars and building the cupboards that my wife designs. |

I hope to go on as far as possible, life is so sad when all works fine! To my Mother... |
