Material needed for the bedhead (headboard)
This bedhead idea uses a wooden panel that is thick enough to fix hooks to its edge.
The wood panel is ordered to a wood panel cutting workshop as follows:
|
The eye hooks are simply fixed to the top of the bedhead panel and the tie one chair cushions simply tied to the hooks.
This allows to easily take out the bed back cushions and have them machine washed from time to time. They can also be replaced any time to cushions of a different color or texture. |
The wood panel is fixed to the wall with a couple of screws, and that's it!

Tips for fixing the bedhead to the wall
When fixing the bedhead to the wall, make sure that:
- It is centered on the location you wish for the bed so centered on the bed
- It is centered on the lights in the wall in case you do have wall lights behind your bed
- It is higher than the mattress by a few cm so the bed cover goes below the behead cushions without touching the cushions.
