The glue to use for hard to bond plastics
The trick is in the tube shown to the left: a chemical activator available for sale within glue kits for hard plastics made of the activator tube and a super glue tube.
The activator lasts longer and can be used with super glue of different brands like the case pictured here:

Pass 1: the plastics bonding activator pen
Apply a first pass with the activator on both ends and wait for 5 minutes
Pass 2: the super glue of any brand, any type (liquid or gel)
After waiting for 5 minutes, apply one drop of super glue to one side of the broken part.
Do not use excess glue, 2 drops per each 3 cm are enough.
Do not breathe the super glue vapor, it irritates eyes.
Avoid having glue on your hands, see further below on what to do if super glue reaches your fingers.
Remove excess glue with a tissue.
Work piece by piece, area by area, do not put drops of super glue on all the parts to bond at a time. Start a new area after you finish the previous one.

Wait at least 2 hours before reassembling the repaired part and applying any load to it.
What to do if some super glue sticks to your fingers
Put your fingers immediately under the hottest water you can afford.
This will eliminate most of the glue and soften the remaining part.
Super glue will completely vanish from your fingers on the next day upon repeated hand washing.
