Car paint protectors for doors or bumpers are often cheap products of arguable quality especially when it comes to the self-adhesive tape that is provided to fix them to the car.
Such tape is usually strong enough on the side that faces the car decor itself for having been applied at factory but very poor on the side that is supposed to be fixed to the car because of the long period it takes to ship the products, store them, etc. and until they are purchased. This is long enough for the adhesive to deteriorate. The car paint protector can then fall upon washing the car or driving a bit fast. How to fix strongly a car decoration
On a just washed car:
1- Decide well where to fix the car paint decor or protector
2- Try it before peeling the tape adhesive so you can make sure of the exact location and distance from nearby elements.
3-Spray alcohol on the area where you will fix the decor
4- Rub the area with a clean dry cloth

7- Press firmly the car decor for a few seconds
