You started the engine of your Peugeot, your dashboard works normally and so is the vehicle.
The central touchscreen remains black however and as a result you lose control over the A/C, sound settings and vehicle configuration. Fixing a black display touch screen problem on Peugeot cars
- Turn off the engine
- Wait 5 minutes
- Disconnect the positive battery terminal
- Wait 2 minutes
- Reconnect the positive battery terminal
- Wait 5 minutes
- Start the car and you will notice that the software of the touch screen of your Peugeot has started and things are back to normal
- Be patient, as any signalled faults showing on the dashboard and resutling from the battery disconnection, will vanish after a few kilometers of driving, or, upon restarting the engine after a stop.
