Most common windshield washer tube failure
You hear your windshield washer pump working but little or no liquid reaches the windshield?
The windshield washer liquid consumption increases dramatically?
Most probably, this is a tube failure below the hood (bonnet), yet easy to reach and repair.

The windshield washer liquid is pumped from the reservoir through a small plastic tube that turns brittle under the effect of the engine heat or on the place where it bends each time you open your car's bonnet (hood).
The repair is easy and consists of cutting out the damaged part with cutting pliers (the only tool required) and inserting a 6 mm fuel hose to reconnect the tubes. The fuel hose is then secured with cable ties.
That's it!

Cut a piece of 6 mm fuel hose that is twice the length of the elbow you removed.
Pour a drop of oil on each side to easily insert it into the windshield washer tube.
