Universal (standard) tightening torques for car bolts

Always tighten your bolts to the recommended manufacturer's values. Recent bolts tightening instructions are often a combination of an initial torque followed by an angular tightening.

Standard bolt tightening torque schedule

The below torque schedule is valid only for fixed parts assembly e.g. an engine support to the chassis.
