The 5 tools that are needed for DIY watch fixing
- A penknife for opening the stainless steel back of a watch case (press-mounted)
- A case opener for threaded watch backs (in blue, middle)
- A pin press for dismantling a metal watch bracelet (in grey, right)
- A watch band pin (spring bar) removal tool (bottom)
- An eye-fitted magnifier (left)
And you need spares indeed like a box of spring bars (watch bracelet pins).
Assortments of different sizes are sold for a cheap price like shown below (left).
Watch bands and bracelets can only be purchased when needed. Make sure to select watch bands of the same width than the one you intend to replace.
