Removal of the defective flexible brake line (hose)
Pull out the brake hose of its middle support on the shock absorber then slacken the nut of its connector to the chassis-mounted rigid brake tube. Disassemble the flex hose from the brake tube as shown in the right picture.
Drain the brake line over a bowl then slacken its other connector on the brake caliper.
Turn the whole hose with your hand to unscrew the hose connector and free it from the caliper.

Refitting a new flexible brake hose (flex line)
Reverse the above steps by connecting it to the brake caliper first, then to the brake tube on chassis.
Attach it to its support on the MacPherson strut before tightening the connector on the chassis side.

Remove the plastic spacer from the old brake hose and fix it in the same place on the new brake line.
Make sure you routed it properly and that the brake hose doesn't interfere with the movement of any part.
