Removing and refitting the turn signal repeater
- Insert your fingers / nails behind the broken fender turn signal repeater
- Use then both index fingers simultaneously and in equal force to pull out the repeater signal
- Twist the lamp holder to take it out
NOTE: If you don't succeed in inserting your nail behind it an pull it out, do not use any sharp object like a screwdriver as this will damage your fender and paint. You need in this case to remove the inner fender mudguard and push the fender turn signal repeater from inside the fender while pressing with your fingers on its holding clips.
- Make sure you purchased a turn signal repeater with an identical mount.
- Refit the lamp holder and rotate it until it holds well then push back the fender signal.
- Your gesture is to be equal on both sides of the fender turn signal repeater, do not attempt to insert one side then the other, as this could bend your fender.
- Do not force, if your repeater does not go in its initial place easily, you have to remove the inner fender mudguard and hold the fender from inside with your fingers while pushing in the signal.
