Special uses of white vinegar as a cleaner: toilet seat and drainages
For cleaning your toilet, better you heat your white vinegar and pour it hot into it while making sure to spread it all around the toilet and leave it for 15 minutes.
If you can access the water tank of your toilet, add also one bottle of vinegar into it before flushing your toilet.
For opening clogged drainage, you can throw some baking soda in the drainage of any sanitary fixture then pour a little vinegar on top of it for unclogging the drainage pipes.
Rince with hot water after a few minutes.

How to avoid the strong smell of vinegar when used for cleaning
The only problem with white vinegar when used for cleaning, remains its smell which you would not like at all so why not add a scent to your vinegar bottle?

It is time to use little of these for changing the vinegars' odour, or else simply buy any essential aromatic oil like lavender oil.

Just put a few citrus peels, lavender stems, lavender oil, sage leaves, etc. in your vinegar bottle.
Wait for a couple of days before using your scented white vinegar for cleaning. Keep the aromatic ingredients in there until you use all the vinegar in the bottle. |
