Preparatory works for the removal of the steering wheel

Removing the steering wheel on the Peugeot 208
Make sure that:
Use a ratchet handle with a Torx socket to unscrew the steering wheel holding nut.
- Your wheels are aligned with the vehicle (steering wheel in central position)
- You key is not inserted in the ignition switch
Use a ratchet handle with a Torx socket to unscrew the steering wheel holding nut.
Kick the steering wheel from the back with both hands simultaneously.
This will free it immediately from the steering wheel column.

Take it out.
You can now access the steering switch assembly (clock spring, coil spring, stalk) behind it if that was the purpose of your intervention.
