Removing the tail light
In some vehicles, the taillight removal requires no tools.
Open the hatch or the trunk lid and look at the back of the tail light.
You could see a nut that can be turned by hand and which you need to loosen for taking out the taillight.
Or, you would need to use a screwdriver to take out a plastic cover:

Then loosen a couple of nuts and remove them to free the tail light.
Keep it in your hand and don't disconnect the wires connector:

Replacing the burnt bulb
Carefully open with your fingers the latches that do hold the taillight bulb assembly in place.
Do not force as these can easily break.
Open them one by one while pulling out gently the til light bulb assembly and holding it until all legs are free.
Remove the burnt tail light bulb and fit a new one:

Refit the bulb assembly plate into its seat and make sure to latch all legs (left).
Carefully reintroduce the tail light into its place.
Tighten the nuts while making sure it is well aligned with the vehicle's surrounding elements (right).
