  • Take care not to touch a hot engine part.
  • Halogen lamp handling: never touch the glass, this quartz is so fragile that it will be damaged by the natural fat of your hands' skin under high temperatures.

Peugeot 3008 and 50008 headlight bulb replacement: removing

Look at the back of the headlight and you will immediately see black covers that can be removed by hand.
The picture to the right shows the electric connector inside the headlight.
Pull out the connector.
The picture in the middle now shows the low beam lamp.
Pull it out with your fingers exactly like you did for the connector.
Note well its orientation in order to facilitate the refitting of the new bulb.
In particular, the bulb has one and only "leg" pointing upwards in this case.
High beam, signal light and position lamp are accessed in the same manner by removing the corresponding headlight cover.
All you need to know about the bulb can be found printed on its base. An H7 halogen bulb of 55W in this case which can be easily and widely found in any online shop or a hypermarket.

Peugeot 3008 and 50008 headlight bulb replacement: refitting

All H7 bulbs are identical regardless of the make.
They all have the same dimensions.
Simply push the bulb in its socket making sure of the leg orientation then push the connector after it.
Try pulling out both with lesser force than the one you used to remove them, they should hold well in place.
Refit the cover while pressing on its circumference.
