Symptoms of a clogged car A/C cabin filter
- Car A/C is overall less efficient, yet the pulsed air from the A/C grilles on the dashboard is cold
- Excessive A/C fan noise inside the car
- Air getting out of the A/C diffusers is too cold
- Air flow is reduced, put your hand facing an A/C diffuser and pull it out slowly, you will notice the pulsed air reaches a shorter distance
- Uncomfortable ambience inside the car at night, with the A/C being too cold
- Uncomfortable ambience inside the car under the sun, with the A/C lacking efficiency

The access trap to the Mazda 2 / Demio cabin filter can be easily and quickly located.

Take out the 4 screws and remove the access trap.

Pull out the 2 elements of the A/C cabin filter.
The second element is mounted on top of the first and will simply fall when pulling out the first.
You can then take it out like you did for the first.

The Mazda 2 / Demio cabin filter is made of 2 parts.
Reverse above steps for refitting. Start by the upper part which you should hold in its position with your finger when pushing the lower part until both are in place. |
