Replacing the front brake pads of the Peugeot 3008 or 5008 Phase 2
Put the front of your car on jack stands, you can proceed wheel by wheel or remove both at a time.
Wash well the brakes with water, simply by using a bottle or a small bucket and throwing water onto them to avoid breathing brake dust.
Then unscrew the brake caliper holding bolts, which are hidden inside a rubber cylinder.

Use a flat (slotted) screwdriver to take out the caliper spring and then the caliper out of its fixing support on the wheel hub:
Remove the pads, noting that the inner one has a fixing spring that fits inside the piston.
Use a C-clamp to push back the piston till the end.

Fit your new brake pads inside the caliper, including new noise suppression plates and new holding springs.
The inner one goes into the mobile part of the caliper, the external one is fitted to the fixed part on the disc.
Apply a drop of threadlocker glue to the caliper bolts and re-assemble everything.

Final checklist before driving your Peugeot 3008 - 5008 Phase 2
- Turn on the engine WITHOUT DRIVING THE VEHICLE.
- Press the brake pedal several times until it becomes stiff as usual. Do not continue to "pump"..
