Replacing the rear brake pads of the Peugeot 5008 II
Put the rear of your car on jack stands, then press the start button and release the parking brake.
Remove the wheels and unscrew the bolts that hold the brake caliper so you can tilt it and take out the brake pads and their holding springs as well.

|
If you have no specific tool for the rear brake calipers, you can use an angle grinder key as shown, to rotate the cylinder of the caliper clockwise and push it back inside the caliper.
Once you're done and that the piston can no more be rotated, use a C-clamp to continue pushing the piston to the max.
Fit your new brake pads inside the fixed part of the caliper, including new noise suppression plates and new holding springs.
Apply a drop of a threadlocker glue to the caliper bolts, refit them and tigthten them.
That's it!
That's it!
