This pictorial is continued from the previous step that consists of removing the oil pan of the Peugeot 1.2 VTi engine.

Gently hit the connecting rod with a plastic hammer to free the connecting rod cap, make sure however to hold it with your hand in order to notice its mounting direction and to make sure the bearing insert is there. This is because the bearing inserts of the piston connecting rod and the rod cap as well have to be refitted exactly as per the initial position and orientation.
Use a permanent marker pen to mark well how the connecting rod cap is fitted.
Do the same for the loose bearing shells in order to refit them the same way as stated above.

Take out the pistons one by one with you hand, while also keeping a trace of which one goes to which cylinder.
Put all dismantled parts from the Peugeot EB2 engine (1.2VTi) in a tray that is clearly marked with the cylinder numbers.
Note how the "UP" marking has been added to the piston connecting rod.
