Now proceed as follows:
- Remove the air filter and air filter housing
- Remove the high pressure air hose from turbo to inlet hose
Canister purge valve (EVAP solenoid valve) removal
Remove the inlet hose that connects to the throttle body.
Remove the five nuts that hold the inlet collector to the cylinder head.
Gently push it back.

Look at the new vapor purge valve to understand where and how to disconnect the hoses, then pull out the valve of its support and take out the whole set. Fit the new one and reverse all steps.
Low pressure fuel and fuel vapor hoses (EVAP) replacement, if needed
It is the right opportunity to replace the low pressure fuel hose and its twin fuel vapor hose in case you need to do so.
This is particularly true if the fuel hose connector to the high pressure fuel pump HPFP is damaged .
Start by draining the fuel hose with a home-made tool as shown (left, click here for more details), then uncouple the hoses:

Remove the clips that hold the hoses to their supports on the cylinder head.
Fit the new ones.
