Set your oven to 220 degrees Celsius (430 degrees Fahrenheit) and to 40 minutes time including preheating.
Cover the bottom of a glass baking dish with olive oil as shown in the picture to the right.

It is very important to keep the skin of the salmon steaks as shown in the middle picture.
Arrange the salmon steaks in the glass baking dish with the skin downwards and in a manner they don't overlap.

- The seasoning consists only of rosemary macerated olive oil. Click here for details.
- Use a food brush to spread most of the rosemary oil over the steaks as shown in the below pictures.
- Do not use all of the oil, keep some for continuously wetting the steaks all along the oven cooking.
- Do not add salt to the salmon steaks
Cook in the oven for the remaining time or for 30 minutes with the oven set to the bottom heat.
Cover the salmon steaks with olive oil and more rosemary every 5 to 8 minutes during the cooking.
The purpose is not to let the salmon steak surface dry at any time.

Serve with whatever side dishes like potato, rice, pasta, sauteed vegetables, etc.
