Removing the throttle body
You can dismantle the throttle body from the air collector while the latter is still on the vehicle of course.
In this particular case, it happened that the air collector was removed for another intervention.
To separate the throttle body from the air collector:
Put the throttle body in a plastic container and clean it with carb spray.
Do not spray the motor, only the metal body of the throttle.

To separate the throttle body from the air collector:
- Disconnect the electrical connector of the throttle.
- Unscrew the 3 or 4 bolts that hold the air throttle body to the air collector. These usually have a female hex head for Allen keys.
Put the throttle body in a plastic container and clean it with carb spray.
Do not spray the motor, only the metal body of the throttle.
