Where are the split ac filters located?
- Split A/C filters are located below the front cover of the indoor unit.
- ll front covers are hinged from top and open as shown in the below picture.
- Applies to all split ac makes: York, Carrier, Gree, Samsung, LG, etc.
There are 2 ac filters that you can remove by pulling them out of their fixing clips then sliding them towards you.
Cleaning and refitting the split ac filters
Cleaning
Gently clean the indoor unit A/C filters with water on your basin.
Water flow from the tap is usually enough to clean them or else you could brush the A/C filters with an old toothbrush.
Refitting
Allow the A/C filters to dry prior to refitting them in place. Close well the A/C indoor unit cover.
