The carburetor (carburettor) diy gasket material and tools
Two different kinds of carburetor gasket material can be easily found in DIY shops:
The paper is preferred and is to be used wherever its thickness is sufficient.
Cork is fragile but has the advantage of providing a thick gasket that can absorb carburetor base irregularities.

Cutting the carburetor gaskets
Use the scissors to cut the outlines of the gasket.
Also for cutting holes inside the base as shown in the middle picture.
You cannot use the scissors however for the bolts holes and neither a knife cutter. For this reason the gasket hole punch is to be used.
