Sort and mark the dismantled camshafts bearings of the EB2 engine as follows:
- Which ones go to the exhaust camshaft, and which ones to the inlet camshaft
- Which one goes to which cylinder.
IMPORTANT: When refitting, make sure to reuse the camshaft bearings in their initial place and with the same orientation.
Use a picture of the camshaft assembly prior to dismantling them in order to be able to re-position these as per their initial layout.

With your hand, push the EB2 engine timing belt so it slides out of the camshafts wheels and extract the camshafts.
Put the dismantled camshafts in a metal tray and again mark the one of the exhaust and the one of the inlet although such marking is also engraved on the camshaft wheels.
