Steamed vegetables served with pommes noisette

WHAT YOU NEED
  • Fresh or frozen broccoli
  • Fresh or frozen cauliflower
  • Frozen artichoke
  • Fresh or frozen carrots
  • Frozen pommes noisette
Put not less than one liter of water in your cooking pot with a glass vegetable steamer fitted in between the pot and the pot cover.
Bring the water to a boil and keep it at high heat at all times while placing the vegetables (one kind at a time) in the steamer.
Inspect the vegetables with a fork to make sure they are done before letting them cool in a strainer.
Do not overcook your vegetables, they should be done but remain crunchy.
Optionally, you can add a bag of frozen pommes noisette to the vegetables.
Simply bake the pommes noisette for a few minutes in a baking tray with a little corn oil.
Progressively populate the serving plate while alternating colors and shapes for an appetizing presentation.
